Mr. Thornton concentrates his practice on commercial real estate focusing primarily on acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of retail properties and medical office buildings. Mr. Thornton also practices in the areas of commercial finance and general business law, representing developers and retail tenants in connection with the negotiation and documentation of the acquisition, development, construction, leasing and disposition of shopping centers and other commercial real estate.
Relevant Experience:
Represented real estate developer in connection with the acquisition of fee interests, venture formation, financing, retail leasing, construction and disposition of a shopping center anchored by two "big box" 100,000+ square foot national retailers and one 60,000 square foot national retailer and the negotiation of development agreements and operating agreements with such retailers.
